Context:
Our client was required to undergo a post-acquisition audit as a result of being acquired by a private equity firm.
Approach & Results:
We were selected to lead the company’s first Big 4 global post-acquisition year-end financial audit. We prepared annual financial statements with a first set of enhanced disclosures and coordinated the reporting effects of the acquisition method of accounting and consolidation of variable interest entities. We solicited and evaluated proposals from various global audit firms and expert consultants and compiled recommendations for Board approval. We provided key interface with auditors, management, investors, staff, and specialists.
