Context:
Our client needed assistance evaluating their production costing method and inventory management controls.
Approach & Results:
We helped design production costing for each product and updated cost rates. We worked with cost centers and created reports to monitor variances, budgets, forecasts, and cost saving targets. Inventory tracking controls were created and physical inventory counts were performed to validate that inventory levels on hand were reflected in accounting records.
