Project: Physical and Financial Energy Business Growth
Context:
Our client needed to expand its current Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodity Trading platform to include a combination of physical and financial commodity trading activities.
Approach & Results:
- We performed an evaluation of our client’s FICC Strategic Plan.
- We provided a peer, market, client, and growth assessment as well as evaluated our client’s current infrastructure (e.g. people, process, and systems) to support this growth initiative.
- We evaluated tax and accounting implications to respective legal entities. This analysis lead to the bank’s expansion into expanded physical and financial trading businesses in the U.S. and other primary markets.
