Context:
Our client needed to identify and define REC trading activities into its current supply procurement, hedging and marketing portfolio.
Approach & Results:
- We assisted our client with defining current and planned RECs trading strategies, markets and products from solar, wind, and other green energy assets as part of their Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) objectives.
- We integrated new REC trading business requirements into the Company’s commodity trading portfolio and risk management systems for accurate and timeline accounting and monitoring of REC trading activity.
