Context:
Our client required assistance with the selection of trading, risk, logistics, and fleet decision support systems. The client also desired to redesign its business processes and develop the IT architecture to support the business.
Approach & Results:
Approach: Assessed the client’s capabilities, plans, and goals to establish both the current-state and desired functional support. Developed “to-be” state practices and business processes. Defined and managed the functional, technical, and vendor requirements per guidance from the client and worked with them to gain approval. Managed scripted demonstrations of both CTRM and logistics optimization solutions. Presented alternatives for long and short-term economic optimization of LNG fleet that aligned with the client’s desired capabilities. Provided Program Management Office (PMO) support.
Results: Developed functional specifications and conducted an application solution investigation across different types of application suites, including: CTRM, freight logistics, and long-term optimization. We also prepared detailed specifications for long-term optimization. Provided roadmap of organizational, business process and IT architecture, and related applications improvements for go forward implementation.
