Project: Property Tax Accrual Review
Context:
Our client needed a review of their property tax accrual to determine if the estimate was reasonable and recorded in the proper period.
Approach & Results:
Using the appropriate appraisal district website, we researched the prior year appraisal valuations and used the current year’s tax rate to estimate the tax accrual. A comparison was then performed to evaluate the reasonableness of the tax accrual.
